The Women’s Pavilion & Breast Center offers an array of outpatient services designed exclusively for women. Skilled female technicians administer exams using the latest technology while results are reviewed by our staff radiologists and reported quickly.
Breast Health
Mammography is the most effective procedure for identifying breast cancer at its earliest and most treatable stages. At the Women’s Pavilion & Breast Center our goal is to make mammography convenient, reliable, and life-saving.
Patients in need of additional diagnostic services such as ultrasound or non-surgical biopsy are notified within 24 to 48 hours to schedule a follow-up appointment.
We offer:
- Digital mammography
- Breast ultrasound
- Ultrasound-guided breast biopsy
- Stereotactic breast biopsy
- Bone density scan
Bone Densitometry and Osteoporosis
Among the health concerns of mature women is estrogen deficiency, which may lead to osteoporosis, a disease characterized by the loss of bone mass leading to an increased risk for fractures. With a bone density scan (bone densitometry), we scan the spine and hip to determine the density, or thickness, of the bones.
Women’s Health Education
We also offer a wide selection of classes and events to help women better understand topics such as hormone replacement, breast self-examination, nutrition, and stress management.
