Beverly Hospital will be suspending eighteen (18) Maternity beds and fifteen (15) Pediatric beds effective June 11, 2023. This means the hospital will no longer provide Maternity services including labor and delivery and postpartum care, and inpatient pediatric care.
Patients requiring admission (for pregnancy-related or pediatric care) will be transferred to another qualified and licensed hospital in our community.
Transfer facilities include:
Women’s Services:
Garfield Medical Center, Greater El Monte Community Hospital, Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital Whittier.
Pediatric Services:
Greater El Monte Community Hospital, Adventist Health White Memorial, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
These facilities take Medicare/Medi-Cal.
This suspension affects fifty-five (55) staff members.

Beverly Hospital will be suspending outpatient diagnostic radiology services in the Women’s Pavilion at 101 Beverly Boulevard effective June 11, 2023. This means the hospital will no longer provide x-ray or mammography services in the Women’s Pavilion.
In addition Beverly Hospital will no longer provide outpatient diagnostic gastrointestinal services.
In addition Beverly Hospital will no longer provide cardiac surgery services.
In addition Beverly Hospital will be suspending operations of the Wound Care Center at 413 N. Poplar Blvd..
Outpatient Radiology Services:
Patients requiring outpatient radiology services may be seen at Beverly Hospital, Radiology Department, Garfield Medical Center, Greater El Monte Community Hospital, Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital Whittier
Transfer facilities include:
Patients requiring cardiac surgery may be transferred to Garfield Medical Center, Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital Whittier, Adventist Health.
Wound Care Treatment:
Patients requiring wound care treatment may be seen at PIH Wound Healing (Whittier), Wound Healing Center (USC Arcadia), Wound Care (White Memorial).
These facilities take Medicare/Medi-Cal.
This suspension affects twelve (12) staff members.
