As we enter 2021, I want to reassure you that Beverly Hospital is committed to being here for all our patients, their families, and our communities, especially during this challenging time. Over 1,000 members of our care team, including physicians, nurses, and supporting staff, are working dedicatedly 24/7 to ensure health and wellness. Thank you for placing your trust in us.

Our top priority is the health and safety of our patients, clinicians, and staff. We have adapted to the changing environment very quickly. Beverly Hospital has instituted a robust action plan and implemented safety precautions following all CDC guidelines with respect to the pandemic.

We could not have provided this high level of service without the supports from our extended community, to whom we are sincerely grateful. The hospital benefited from help from friends new and old. Donations received included cash, homemade masks, snacks for front-line care workers, meals for the entire team at Beverly Hospital, personal protective equipment (masks, protective garments, face shields and gloves), hand sanitizers and ultraviolet sanitizing lighting. Total value of cash and goods received as of November 2020 was in excess of $170,000.

However, please remember that the crisis is not over. We urge everyone to continue to do their share to slow the spread of COVID-19. This includes social distancing, mask wearing, hand sanitizing and getting appropriate vaccinations. Join us in this fight. Together we will beat COVID-19 and embrace a healthy and happy New Year!
