Beverly Hospital Foundation held their 36th Annual Golf Classic at the SeaCliff Country Club in Huntington Beach on Monday, May 3, 2021. Major sponsors included Bank of the West, Lillian Gong, CPA, Hanmi Bank, Moss Adams, and Brasica Builders.
The event was attended by 152 golfers who enjoyed a cool and breezy day just a few blocks from the beach. SeaCliff Country Club boasts beautiful and peaceful scenery for those fortunate to be invited to this private club. Golfers jubilantly lined up early that morning, ready to try their hand at qualifying to win the $5,000 cash prize in the putting contest. Jay McCartney with Chevrolet of Montebello was out on the course, challenging players to make a hole in one shot to win the brand-new Chevy Blazer.
Following dinner, golfers generously made bids to take home a Beverly Bear, and when a bottle of Dom Perignon champagne was offered to the “Last Bidder” bids went up fast and furious, with Dr. James Lin taking home the prize! Premium Raffle prize tickets were drawn, and winners scored a Gourmet Beef package, an 82” Smart TV, Four tickets to the Dodger Game, an Apple iWatch, a catered BBQ for 20 people, and many more!
The Foundation is grateful for all the support from our community. The Tournament grossed more than $94,000 in support of essential services and critical care at Beverly Hospital.
